A comprehensive HSE and Quality Management System has the ultimate goal of achieving zero work-related illnesses, zero accidents and zero injuries, in addition to minimizing environmental impact. We want to satisfy our customers through reliable delivery of consistent high quality data and superior service.

Training

Scanning Technologies works to meet or exceed every requirement (Federal, Provincial/State & Customer Specific) relating to health, safety and the environment. Our company maintains an HSE manual to address issues covering all of our operations. This manual also contains a very important statement: "our personnel will comply with all customer policies". This ensures that at a minimum, we will meet your company's health, safety and environment standards.

Our personnel participate in regular training and upgrading throughout the year. Some of the safety programs that our personnel participate in include:

• Radiation Awareness
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
• Petroleum Safety Training (PST)
• H2S Alive
• First Aid and CPR

Licensing

Scanning Technologies complies with all of the licence requirements set out by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commision (CNSC) and is licensed to use radioactive materials in Canada and the United States (under the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality).

Insurance

Scanning Technologies maintains Worker's Compensation Insurance (WCB), General Liability and Commercial Vehicle insurance for the protection of our workers, our customers and your facilities.
